As Uruguay gained its independence in August of 1825, the memories rushed back from that stormy day in May of 1810, when the sun suddenly broke from the cloud-lined sky and shined upon the land. This day became known as the “Sun of May”, the day that sparked the revolution of independence from the Spanish Empire. Ever since, the “Sun of May” has been an everlasting part of Uruguayan culture representing unity, truth, clarity, majesty, and abundance.
Sabor del Sol, or “Taste of the Sun” brings all of the truth, clarity, and brilliance of premium, grass-fed beef direct from Uruguay.
